Taking lingerie to the streets is no easy task. But Anna Molinari, also known as the queen of roses, has successfully made it possible this Spring.
Blumarine’s models were draped in sexy transparent fabrics that revealed a treat for the eye; showing off their slim figures with cheeky thigh high splits. The more conservative pieces did not shy away from showing some bare skin either, with tantalizing V-neck lines and cold shoulders for a cheeky spin on an otherwise basic feminine silhouette. The show featured the likes of Victoria's Secret Runway Models, Elsa Hosk and Georgia Fowler, aswell as Aussie girls Charlee Fraser and Aleyna Fitzgerald.
The SS18 collection draws inspiration from traditional Japanese culture, starring kimonos and cherry blossom embellishments as their statement trends for Spring. Anna Molinari brought back monochromatic hues and sherbet pastels in blue, green, and pink for the incoming warmer weather. But let’s be real, black and white will never go out of season. Every piece looks delicately sewn together to create lacey pyjama-like dresses and two piece sets.
Does this mean we can wear our pyjamas outside of the house? Well why not?! You only live once.
