The time's coming around again, where Adelaide's fashion elite flock to Torrens Parade Grounds to drink good wine, observe models in pretty clothing and eat good food.

Last night, a small selection of these fashion elite were invited to 2KW for a three course dinner, to celebrate the unveiling of the 2018 Official Program. If you're time poor and don't have time to look at the four day schedule, we've put together a few of our highlights that you cannot miss.

1. Masterclass with Alyce Tran of The Daily Edited

Number one on our list is the masterclass with Alyce Tran, Adelaide's most successful fashion export. If you don't own a piece of TDE, then who really are you? C'mon guys, even our dogs have a monogrammed something something. The brand has revolutionised the way people see and think about personal monogrammed lifestyle products. The former lawyer turned fashion powerhouse will sit in the firing line and answer everyones questions - we're going to ask for a free purse.

2. Slow Saturday

We adored the Slow Fashion Festival last year, and now it's back bigger than ever, but this time as a part of the official program. Run by Anny Duff from Good Studios, Emily Sheahan of SWOP Vintage, and Natalie Ivanov of RE-SWIM, the event will focus on ethical and sustainable fashion and food. Here we'll see runways focusing on vintage and pre-loved clothing, deadstock and Australian sustainable brands. To make things even extra amazing, Simon Bryant will be treating everyone to a three course lunch highlighting ethical produce.

3. SA Designer Showcase

The SA Designer Showcase is definitely going to be one to highlight in your diary. Twenty local brands will walk down the runway in just one show, which makes for the biggest parade in AFF history yet. Presented by Spendless Shoes, and styled by Vogue's Pip Moroney. We're pretty excited to see the launch of Travis Boak's Rogers Swimwear in the line up, could we please see the spunk himself walking down the runway in nothing but his designs? Just asking for a friend.

4. Paolo Sebastian

Paul Vasileff has quite literally put Adelaide on the fashion map, with his ethereal handmade couture gowns. The designer boasts an impressive resume, including winning SA Young Designer of the Year, and dressing Katy Perry, Leona Lewis, Coco Rocha, Lili Reinhart, and Kris Jenner. Last year he collaborated with Disney, to showcase a collection of gowns inspired by the stories and princesses he grew up reading about - we were all left with tears in our eyes wondering how in the hell he was going to follow that up. But this year he's upped the anti yet again, and will be showcasing a range inspired by The Nutcracker ballet, with models waltzing around to the sounds of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. No worries.

We can't wait to hear from one of the country’s most influential voices in fashion, media and business, Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Edwina McCann, at contemporary city eatery, Sean’s Kitchen, while enjoying a stunning shared lunch and elegant wines from Wicks Estate. Back for her second year at the Adelaide Fashion Festival, McCann will share her insights about trend, influence, consumer behaviour and the media landscape.
