Alexander Wang: Collection 1
Attention: Alexander Wang has officially become the 'bad boy' of fashion, after abandoning 'seasonal' collections, and showing three months ahead of schedule.
Can you even do that?
Answer is, yes, apparently you can.
After a questionable range last season, where Wang sent models down the runway dressed in 80's CEO style clothing, we feel like he's finally found his roots again.
And we mean roots quite literally. Wang was inspired by his parent's immigration to America from Taiwan.
Note cards on every seat read: “Today marks a new beginning, a new identity, and a new day for my brand.”
The all-American red, white and blue flag crept onto socks, and into the hair and makeup references. While Chinatown was printed down the side of flannel pants, paired with baseball jerseys. Mini tailored jumpsuits and fabulous embellished fringed lace vests flew open, all the classic party points ready for the Wangover.
We're so ready for this.
