Gucci launches its new sustainability platform, Gucci Equilibrium
Be the change.
Gucci has, once again, pledged its commitment to sustainability and transparency by launching Gucci Equilibrium, an online platform “designed to connect people, planet and purpose”.
The announcement happened to fall on World Environment Day.
“We have been working on sustainability for so long and we realised at one point that our actions needed to be better understood within and outside the company,” president and CEO Marco Bizzarri told WWD.
The online platform aims to address three key pillars to bring positive change for our collective future. These include the environment, people and new models of sustainable innovation.
It’s all part of a wide-ranging 10-year sustainability plan put in place by the fashion house to better manage its environmental impact.
