Our favourite new faces that owned Fashion Week Australia

The new generation is here

1. Aylah Mae

This talented 5’10 beauty from Kult Australia, doesn’t just own her sideline acting career, but owned #MBFWA this year and definitely caught our eye, adorned in Bec + Bridge, Aje and may we say absolutely slayed P.E NATION in their active streetwear.

2. Varsha Kumar

Our socks were knocked off, by this 5’9 beauty from Chadwick Models, who caught our eye at Bec + Bridge, and then again at Christopher Esber, Karla Spetic, Matteau and Anna Quan. Pretty good for her first season, and for a modelling career of only a few months.

3. Brooklyn Harrison

This 5’11 New Zealand based 5’11 beauty, from IMG Models, caught our attention this year as she made her #MBFWA debut, walking for Aje, Thurley, Alice McCall and Lee Mathews, whose show was ‘absolutely dreamy’ according to the Kiwi herself.

4. Alice Yang

We are officially in love with Alice Yang. The 5’7 tall newbie was born in Australia, but her family is from China. Scouted while working her part time job by IMG Models, the teen had a successful first season walking for Tigerlily, Aje, Jonathan Simkhai, Mariam Seddiq, Lee Mathews, Alice McCall and the brilliant Chloe Mottau.

5. Amer Athiu

How can you not have noticed this 5’8 beauty, from Chadwick Models, she was pretty much in every show. We saw her walking for Thurley, Bondi Born, Leo & Lin, Bec + Bridge, Bassike, We Are Kindred, and closed for Carla Zampatti, which was the last show of the week.

This extra tall Queenslander teen, from IMG Models, captivated us as she walked #MBFWA for a second time, adorned in Leo & Lin, Aje and killed Bec + Bridge in her flamboyant purple thigh high leather boots.
