7 things you need to do in 2018

It can sometimes feel like time flies by quicker every year. Was it not just yesterday that we were braiding our hair with our Conair and collecting Sabrina's Secret issues?

Each year we're left wondering if we've made all 365 days count, as our yearly planner is left unused at the bottom of our bag. Well it's about time to make them count.

1. Free ball it at Maslin's Beach

If you're under 18 we cannot recommend you do this, but if you are...  then it's time to let those puppies out to get some air. Maslin's Beach is the only place in Adelaide you can legally go butt naked and not get fined for indecent exposure. Time to even out those tan lines.

2. Tick something off of your travel bucket list

Just finally do the damn thing - start a savings account, sell your TV, recycle some cans for cash and book the flights. Keep an eye out for cheap flight and go wherever Jetstar tells you to go. You're only young once.

3. Go on a bicycle wine tour

Dust off the old helmet and put your riding boots on. Book a bicycle wine tour and see the beautiful sights of your own home state. Our favourite part is the drunk bicycle ride back home.

4. Quit the sugar

Quit it, it's no good for you. Studies have proven that sugar can be more addictive than smoking, and it seriously takes a toll on your body. High-fructose foods can destroy your liver, deactivate your immune system, and is one of the main causes of weight gain.

5. Sell your old things at a local market

This is not only a great way to clear out some wardrobe space, but also to make a bit of extra cash for your travel funds. It usually costs about $100 to hold a stall at your local market, so make sure your investment is returned by selling a decent amount of stuff.

6. Jump of a cliff into the ocean

Nothing compares to that gut turning feeling when you're free falling in mid air. Grab your pals and your Go Pro and jump on in, at your own risk of course.

7. Go to the movies all by yourself

It's okay, we all really wanted to see Moana instead of watching Star Wars with the boyfriend. Open a newspaper and find out the viewing times for your local cinema, yep that's the way us old folks used to do it, and then go all by yourself. We can promise you, that there is nothing more empowering.
